If another user reports one of your listings, don’t panic — it doesn’t automatically mean you did something wrong.

At Firesale, we’re committed to keeping the marketplace safe, respectful, and fair. That’s why we have a reporting system in place, and a Trust & Safety team that reviews every report.

🔔 Here’s what happens if your listing is reported:

  1. You’ll receive a notification letting you know which listing was flagged

  2. Our Trust & Safety team is immediately alerted and will begin reviewing the report

  3. If needed, we may temporarily hide the listing while we investigate

  4. We’ll follow up with you directly if more information is needed

🛡️ Why listings get reported:

Common reasons include:

  • The item appears to violate Firesale’s policies (e.g. prohibited or illegal items)

  • The video is unclear or misleading

  • The item is offensive, inappropriate, or potentially stolen

  • The listing was posted in error or multiple times

If your listing is fine — it stays up

Our team reviews every report manually. If we determine the listing follows our guidelines, we’ll restore or leave it visible and let you know.

If something needs to be changed:

We’ll provide clear guidance on what to update or why a listing may need to be removed. You’re always welcome to relist the item correctly or reach out for clarification.
